If you’re into programming, the Filter plugin equals a IF-THEN clause. Filter is a very lightweight plugin that lets the user configure a single value what will be used for comparison with the incoming value. 4 possible outcomes is possible when this happens; either its less-than, equal-to, greater-than or Contains the incoming value. The value will be outputted in the corresponding output.
The usage of the Filter plugin will be many, but one great use is to put it between the OpenWeather plugin and one of the locks of the Gate plugin. Let the Filter decide if the gate locks or not! Maybe this will restrain the robot lawn mower from cutting the grass if the last 3 hours of rain is above a certain amount?
